Went here for dinner via Diningcity. Really cute restaurant, but a bit dark and crowded. The food was really tasty and came very quickly. The service was also excellent. There is much to say about this. Let's start with the positives. We ate in the garden, and that was quite nice, a beautiful green, well-kept garden with not too many tables. The staff (students, I think) were friendly and correct. The food always came fairly quickly, never had to wait too long. Portions big enough to share. But then... The food and drink. 26.50 for the tapas, but if you want fries or salad (!), you have to order them separately at 2.50 p.p. A bottle of rosé costs 22.50. We lost about 96 euros with two people. But what do you get for that? It had very little to do with Spanish food. The menu has 26 "dishes", but then I also count "green olives". So limited choice. The bread in the dishes was always a white kaiser roll. Other than that, a lot came from a jar or bottle from the supermarket: the pesto, the aillioli, the herb cheese, salmon salad, tuna salad, salad dressing, etc. None of this is freshly prepared and that also applies to many main ingredients, such as the meatballs and chicken bones . The "tenderloin tips" were fully cooked. All in all, there were a few dishes that were decent (4 out of 20 according to my dining companion), but most of them were tasteless or just not tasty. The bottle of rosé we got was drinkable, but literally costs 3 euros at the Makro, so you pay 22.50 for that. In any case, it does not do justice to the name "Vino y Tapas". In short, we are one experience richer and 96 euros poorer, and we will never come to this restaurant again. How anyone here can say the food was good is simply beyond comprehension. For the same money or less, you can eat 100 times better at that tapas chain on the Keizersgracht. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
