great atmosphere, good vibe and food all together, portions are big enough. basmati probably the best in istanbul. the negative side of this place that i can only say is beverage prices, 150 TL for 200 ml cola is not fair (if it had been listed as 200 ml on the menu i did not order but anyway this is just a feedback from my perspective) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₺1,200–1,400 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We’ve been going to Valide Maçka regularly for a while now and it honestly never disappoints. It’s one of those places that just feels good to be in. Everything tastes amazing, and the meatballs are genuinely amazing. But if you come here, you absolutely have to try the dumplings (mantı). We also tried the white mosaic cake this time and it was genuinely life changing It’s been one of our favorite spots in the city! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place would get more stars from me if I could. The food was simple yet excellent. The staff are really polite. Service is quick. We had the tomato soup and Valide plate. Both were delicious. The plate came with meatballs and we asked for the eggplant sauce and it was all amazing. 10/10 would highly recommend. Perhaps come for lunch before your Dolmabahce Palace visit.
