I am so sorry to read about such a catastrophic experience, considering the fact that I can accept anything except inedible food. Umi offers traditional Japanese cuisine, simple but at the same time elegant and balanced cuisine. Our sushi selections, also traditional, probably do not meet the tastes of those who usually go to a fusion restaurant or even worse to an al yuo can Eat! My certified raw materials, including Portuguese tuna and Scottish salmon, are in my opinion untouchable. Our raw material, delivered three times a week to always guarantee freshness, cannot be defined as fridge-free! Obviously, understanding Japanese cuisine is not for everyone and together with this, also the restaurant, which perfectly reflects a typical Japanese restaurant, which is very welcoming and silent to allow everyone to immerse themselves 360 degrees in this experience which in our opinion it is not just culinary. In fact, a little advice, as we can understand from what you wrote, avoid eating soy sauce and fish, but RICE, FISH AND MAYBE A DROP OF SOY SAUCE. In conclusion, feeling obliged to respond to a comment that I think is absurd, I would like to mention that: not for our pride, not for our whim, but for the skills of our chef and the quality of the raw materials used in hot cuisine and sushi, we have been classified as the fifth Japanese in Italy.
