So - the texture, let's call it that, changed completely and it became such a luxurious living room, I came for a meal in the early hours of the evening which means an invitation to 1845 on a weekday, someone, for a not really clear reason, changed the space completely and probably also the saying and he wants to hope that it will succeed, as if they brought in some designer with a concept that said forget everything that was and turned this thing called Tutu into something, different, a little angry, that needs to be reconnected with it and check whether Tutu has indeed stayed there because in my eyes the name of a restaurant includes the food, the experience , the memories and the like, well I'm not sure I recognized what I had The bar was about a quarter full with me, the menu was in my opinion - let's call it - few options and many shekels - it must be said that I immediately received a warm and generous attitude from the bartender, it was possible to taste the wines by the glass before ordering, really wonderful olives that were devoured in a second. To tell the truth - it was hard for me to order, the menu was like something to overcome for me. It was less of a meal at a restaurant and more of a sale and a kind of maneuver how not to leave here with hundreds of shekels for one meal for one diner, I personally think that 188 shekels for a dish of black pasta with seafood or something, add a glass of wine for 59 shekels and we're already at two hundred or so , add an appetizer... a little tip and say no to dessert and we easily jumped over the 300, that is - I came to eat, I didn't come to do financial accounts, I'm a simple employee (let's say, an architect) and I came in the evening to eat in Tutu, and I didn't do so well - that is, yes - But not dishes that are probably not the flagship dishes of the restaurant and you can say that I actually used the starter dishes. There is no doubt - excellent raw materials, delicious, interesting, original, surprising, exciting. You can see that there is a very professional hand here and here the original statement of the restaurant remains. Did I enjoy it - yes, did I find a new love? Unfortunately, no. Ugh, just expensive. Who needs all this luxury? You are here to cook and be a Toto restaurant. Seriously, I don't understand this whole move the restaurant made and I don't believe it and it looks like some episode of someone's megalomania there.
