Strange service. The bar would not let us order food and said we had to order it from the waiter. The waiter gave us a menu then pointedly ignored us for a long time, even as we waved to him and tried to catch his attention, he just looked away and started shuffling chairs around. I said when he was nearby 'excuse me can we order please' and he completely blanked me. I then walked right up to him and said it again and he said 'you can try, but I don't know'. We were close to walking out, but not sure if this is a latvian cultural thing where you have to expect to wait? Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Amazing place! We had a nice dinner and even with live music while artist was playing piano. Perfect traditional cold soup with potatos for crazy good price! I recommend both locals and tourists this place! Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was with friends and we ordered beer at bar, sat at table and waited for menu and a waiter. No chance! Nobody came to us. Even after we asked the girl who delivered food to tables. We were totally ignored. Waiter circulated between tables and never came to us. So we never recommend this place to anyone. Price per person: €5–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
