The food is amazing! I Always have the Bombay potato and it just gets better each time The staff is so friendly and know everything about the menu and more The waiters asked me 2 times if everything is fine and even the chef on his way out greeted me and asked how the food was I love this place and the staff Not my first time here and not my last! Would recommend it to everyone Forgot to take pictures but this has become My favorite place every month I come back thank you for the amazing food and experience with the staff Vegetarian options: Bombay patato is so amazing and so many Vegaterian dishes love it as a Vegaterian myself these are my favorite Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 250–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Biryani

This was not the first time we ate here, the food is never consistent. The management including the hostess Rashida only pay attention to international guests, they totally ignore the locals. We had a 1/4 piece of naan bread that we didn’t finish from our buffet meal, and we also ordered a meal from the menu: we asked if they coy put the piece of naan with our takeaway, and were to that they will throw it away, but will not allow us to take it. Our efforts to speak to both the manager as well as the host Rashida were completely ignored. This was not our only bad experience, and we will never be back!! Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Taste of Mumbai Restaurant enjoys among the best locations in the Emperors Palace Food Court. This makes for an amazingly pleasant ambiance, whether one opts to sit in the cosy interior with plush seating, or outside, almost in the middle of the vibe, and a great opportunity for people-watching - if that's your thing. Even on a Saturday afternoon, there was no waiting time for a table. Either way, one is still surrounded by the aroma of exotic spices that tantalises one's taste buds. We opted to try the buffet fare of basmati rice, butter naan, butter chicken, Roghan Gosht (lamb), and chicken biryani And if one is strictly vegetarian, there was also, yellow (pea) dhal (lentils), chole / channa (whole gram) curry, gobi aloo (cauliflower and potato) curry, as well as among the most tasty Brinjal curry curry I have eaten. I tried a little of all the dishes. I had never eaten Brinjal curry in a restaurant before, and this brinjal curry was excellent. The butter chicken was very good, and the hot, freshly prepared butter naan was exceptional. It was amazing to see the chef skillfully roll, toss, and bake the naan right in front of your eyes. Thanks for attentive service from Waitor, Junior, who ensured we had a comfortable experience at Taste of Mumbai. The buffet is excellent value for money. I also enjoyed the starters, especially the exceptional and crunchy chillie bites and the battered fish cutlets. The rice pudding dessert was also tasty. I would visit them again.
