Unfortunately it's a NO! To my great regret and disappointment I cannot recommend this location! I would like to start by saying that, without a doubt, to appreciate a certain type of cuisine you should be open-minded and have a palate trained in unusual combinations and the magic tricks of a true culinary artist... and having traveled around a bit my palate is... I had very high expectations , knowing the fame of the chef and having been eyeing the location for a few weeks, I couldn't wait to have dinner at Stazione Vucciria... disappointment and disappointment! We opted for the Menu Deg Lungo (17 mini courses - €135 each - beverage obviously excluded). From the first courses excellent flavors and unexpected combinations then a descent without any ascent unfortunately... some courses overcooked or tasteless but the thing that really doesn't allow you to overlook some (questionable) flaws in the kitchen is all the side dishes... dining room service ( as kind as he is in some cases) unprepared and not in line with the imprint of the kitchen.. pouring of water and wine in total "self-management".. waiting times too long.. we waited up to 20 minutes for the various courses..(it wasn't possible to speed up since the tables march together...they tell us), wine suggestions that don't comply with the requests made, ice melted inside the seau a glace and hot wine? No problem! let's throw all the water into the plant right next to you... I would also like to mention the road to get to the site... a descent which upon arrival with a view of the sunset may also please you but on the way back, after waiting for over 3 hours on the chair and in pitch darkness it is not pleasant at all (small step lights illuminated the left side of the road very slightly but not enough to see your feet). Could I have been unlucky? For me at the moment it's not worth the visit..! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+
