Service: Dine in Meal type: Other
Soupculture was SUCH a cool find - a wonderful little café right in the heart of the Old Town, Bratislava, Slovakia! This spot specializes in soups (obviously), but what makes this place unique is their whole concept of using edible bowls! The soup is essentially served in a tall bowl (basically a tall, large cup with a big lip) and you first eat the soupthen eat the bowl that it came in! We got the lentil soup and the pumpkin/sweet potato soup, as well as their kids’ punch, which was the same as classic Slovakian Christmas punch, but just the non-alcoholic version. Both soups were SO GOOD, some of the best we have ever had, and the bowls they came in were actually really good as well! The bowl they use is actually super compressed bread and it soaks up the flavor of whatever soup was in it - really good! The punch was also excellent, would 100% get again, and it was overall an awesome place. If you are looking for something very reasonably-priced (not expensive) and healthier than other options in Bratislava’s Old Town, this is the perfect café! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
