An absolute gem in Kadıköy – a must visit! We stumbled upon Sofra Han during our trip to Istanbul and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences of our entire stay. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic and full of flavour. Exactly what traditional Turkish cuisine should taste like. What made the experience truly special was the incredible hospitality. Chef Metin personally welcomed us and made us feel right at home. We were treated to several complimentary dishes which we did not expect at all – a wonderful gesture that showed genuine care for their guests. The atmosphere is warm and authentic – you can tell immediately that this is a place where locals eat, not a tourist trap. Prices are very fair for the quality you receive. If you are visiting Istanbul and want a truly authentic Turkish meal with outstanding hospitality, do not miss Sofra Han. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Istanbul!
