Deserves 0 stars, ordered via uber eats the other day. Meat (Chuck & wors) was burnt, dry and flavourless. Chips were bad. Morogo, coleslaw, dombolo & pap were all tasteless (no seasoning whatsoever) we had to add our own seasoning to give it some taste. I wish I checked these google reviews before placing the order, for some reason they have a 4.2 score on uber eats - cooked reviews maybe ?? Never buying from them again. Price per person: R 200–300 Food: 1

I ordered from Smokinyama and deeply regret it. The delivery took over 2 hours, and when the driver finally arrived, the food was stone cold. He claimed the road was closed and drove around in circles — not sure if it was incompetence or poor navigation, but either way, it was unacceptable.
The food itself was a disaster. For the high price, I expected something fresh and flavorful. Instead:
The chuck was hard as a rock
The chicken tasted off — borderline spoiled
The chakalaka was watery and completely bland
I genuinely question what criteria Uber Eats uses to onboard restaurants like this. If this is the standard, it's worrying. I would not recommend Smokinyama or the driver. Save your money and your appetite — look elsewhere.I would give them minus 100
