Good food, fresh fish prepared simply. Nothing elaborate in short, but good. The furniture is nice but the absence of sound-absorbing panels makes the environment very noisy. Service normal. I didn't like the absence of the menu and therefore also of the prices of both food and drinks. The wines we bought were nothing special. Overall slightly expensive but the fresh fish menu makes me say I would go back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I recently stayed at Chalet Settepuntonove in Porto San Giorgio and whilst the whole beach facility was well looked after I was deeply disappointed with the service provided at the bar. As I approached the counter, I requested a Caipirinha, but was told they couldn't make it since the main ingredient, the cachaça, was missing. While I was aware that it's a particular ingredient, I was surprised that it wasn't available. I then opted for a screwdriver, but the bartender showed total ignorance about this cocktail, even asking me what it was. Explaining to her that it was a blend of vodka and orange juice, she checked in the fridge then told me she only had grapefruit juice. I wondered if anyone ever had breakfast in that place, considering that orange juice wasn't available either. I then asked what they could offer me and the barmaid suggested a gin and tonic, presenting me with the classic bottle that looked like it had been filled with a cheap gin. Disappointed, I opted for a panaché, but again the barmaid demonstrated total ignorance about the drinks, asking me what it was. Explaining that it was a mix of beer and soda, she checked the fridge and then told me she didn't have any Sprite, offering me a lemon Schweppes instead. Now baffled, I decided to have a spritz, as I had noticed other customers drinking it previously, but I had to leave it halfway because the taste was not pleasant at all. In conclusion, the Settepuntonove Chalet is a pleasant place, but I don't recommend it to anyone interested in the bar services. The absence of key ingredients and the staff's ignorance of the drinks on offer made my experience somewhat disappointing. I hope management takes steps to improve the quality of service at the cafe and ensure proper selection of ingredients to meet customer demands.
