An unserem Nachbartisch wurden Naziparolen rumgegröllt, unsere Nachbarn wurden daraufhin sehr unkompliziert rausgeworfen (im Foto der Tisch ohne die unangenehmen Gäste)

The pub's name reflects its allure—there’s no flashy signage or clear directions, making finding it part of the adventure. Once inside, the atmosphere is a blend of rustic Latvian charm and modern touches. Dim lighting, exposed stone walls, and cozy nooks give it an intimate, underground feel, ideal for small gatherings or a night out with friends. One of the highlights of our visit was the variety of local drinks. We enjoyed a few pints of crisp Latvian beer, which was refreshingly smooth and paired perfectly with the pub's ambiance. But the true standout was the traditional Latvian rhubarb liquor—unlike anything we’d tasted before. Its sweet and slightly tart flavor was both comforting and invigorating, offering a taste of Latvia’s heritage. The staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, providing insight into the drink's origins and even sharing recommendations for other local specialties. Secret Event Pub seems to attract a crowd of both locals and travelers eager to uncover Riga’s secrets, making it a lively spot with a friendly atmosphere. The unique setting, rich in Latvian history and taste, and the welcoming staff make Secret Event Pub a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Riga’s cultural nightlife beyond the surface.
