As a native Peruvian, this was not it. The real taste of the dishes wasn't present, since they don't seem to use the key ingredients (like aji amarillo). Most of the food tasted bland and nothing like the authentic food. Don't go if you want real peruvian dishes with taste. Really good experience! First time for me at this restaurant (and with Peruvian food) but I found it very good. I tried a starter and a mixed dish (Trio Marino). Everything was tasty and absolutely good but the Arroz con Moriscos was the best for me. Just the service was a bit inattentive as I had to ask for fork and knife once the starter arrived (but ok, nothing serious) and some prices (e.g. Beers) were not indicated on the menu. It seems prices have been increased (around 20%) with respect to what you can find on the restaurant website but I think it is still worth trying. I will try some other plate for sure! This Peruvian restaurant is quite nice. The food is typically Peruvian and tastes great. The people are friendly and do the best they can, but there would be room for improvement in comparison with their Sazon de Sofia that was in Antwerpen. The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere and the restaurant itself is a bit narrow; the tables are quite close to each other and especially when it’s busy (like weekends), well that can be a problem with the smoothness and how long it can take to get your food. We had to wait a long time before sitting down and also before getting drinks and food. So I would advise reserving early in the expectancy that you will have to wait a little bit (again, if you come in the weekend). It was overcrowded and even though a lot of people reserved, they couldn’t place us all at a table immediately. I get that a restaurant wants to have their seats filled and in case someone cancels have a backup, but it does increase the waiting time. The food was tasty and I think that the price is fair. It will be around 20-30 for the food and depending on the drinks you will probably end up spending around 70 euros for 2 persons. The staff was really kind, but I felt like since everyone came at nearly the same time, it was difficult to attend every table smoothly. If you haven’t tried Peruvian food I would definitely recommend it; there are a variety of dishes and drinks that you can’t find a lot in Europe.
