We went last night to pick up two pizzas (but they also provide home delivery), excellent dough, very light and seasoned just right. We chose the Neapolitan dough, and it is wonderful, we will return as soon as possible also because we recently moved right next to the place, I think it will become our reference pizzeria. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

ANTI-COVID PIZZA! (but for the 2 stars, originally 5, see the update below) I haven't written a review for months, considering that the restaurants are closed every other day as well (poor Italian restaurateurs to whom all my concern, esteem and moral support goes), but this time I just can't help myself: takeaway from Samuel Pizza in Caronno P.lla the pizza of the day, prepared with the following ingredients: edge stuffed with fresh ricotta (sublime!), yellow tomato, dried tomatoes, fresh pesto, Neapolitan mozzarella (all brought in from Naples days), cold burrata placed in the centre: cost €10 (a little more than the other pizzas at €7.50 on average, because this is the pizza of the day). I ate it all out of greed, but a normal human being might have stopped, full, halfway through. A freshness and taste that no other pizzeria in Caronno and the surrounding area (including all of Saronno) can match. Milan? From memory (I lived there and tried MANY) I don't remember a Milanese round pizza at this level. To find equal goodness you have to go to the Neapolitans of Cirimido, or to Pizza Italiana Espressa in the Center of Arese (much more expensive, however, already reviewed by me). And we come to the title: the two owner boys, a Neapolitan and an Apulian who therefore unite these two excellent pizza traditions, have opened a few months ago (taking over from the two Indians without 'nfamy and without praise from before), completely changing the proposal (all pizzas with ingredients selected among the excellences of Italy) and holding firm in this period in which the red zone and closures drastically reduce the clientele. Well, I tell you that this pizza is capable of something unique: lifting you out of your dark Covid mood, making you satisfied and happy. Does this seem like little to you? In these times (imagine still having your nose half pierced by a swab and having listened to students for 5 hours repeating to you "I don't like the connection, I don't hear well, I can't see the presentation"), I assure you that it is not . UPDATE December 2021: Unfortunately, since the pizza chefs changed, the quality of the pizza has dropped drastically: so let's forget the initial 5 Stars and drop to a paltry 2. Last time scandalous home delivery (constantly cold): I had asked for a pizza that indicated fresh ricotta and it arrives covered in vile raw salted ricotta, so salty that it makes the pizza inedible. I had to scrape it off with a knife. I wrote to the Facebook page complaining, as a regular customer that I was, and I didn't get any response. Well, I'd say enough and I went to order my home pizza from Favola 2, which delivers in record time, sometimes 20 minutes after ordering!, always perfectly hot, with normal but good and plentiful ingredients, at very cheap prices. I'm sorry that a Caronnese excellence has lapsed into the usual "let's do worse to save money hoping they don't notice". But people who know what they eat (naked lunch) always notice it. UPDATE February 2023: management has changed; now it's called Pizzeria dell'Angolo and fortunately it has returned to its former glory: just tried home delivery in record time (in my opinion between a quarter of an hour and twenty minutes including preparation and delivery): pizza Gustosa by name and by made only €8 plus can of Coke total €10, I imagine therefore not even a supplement for delivery. The ingredients are good and especially the spicy salami. Very tasty and not at all dry; hot at the right point; crunchy crust but not too much: really good!
