Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Preis leider total übertrieben und nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Tische stehen so eng, dass der Kellner uns über den Nebentisch bedienen musste. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Okay. Finally taking Dad to Loetje for the first time. Been before. Loetje Overveen. Etc. Always great. No fuss. Simply delicious steak and well cared for. NOW MAASTRICHT. 3rd visit. I take the first two times for granted. Wasn't great but food was fine. Now I have to say something about it. The service is mediocre to say the least. Bad. Ordered a pinot noir. Got a pinot grigio. Thought it was a shame but okay. Are and remain grapes. Have some wine. Sir, would you like something to drink? So please politely indicate that I received the wrong wine, but that's fine. But now I would like to drink a pinot noir. Smile. Haha. Ah the food. Steak. We didn't have to wait 15 minutes for the fries and bread. Steak cold and the gravy already sticking. In the meantime, still no pinot noir. Fries once served lukewarm. Had to wait for the pinot noir while the plates had already been removed from the table. This after asking 3 times. We received this wine from the business. This is now the 3rd time Loetje has been in Maastricht and the last for me. Bad service. Fortunately, my father thought the steak was delicious. Hopefully you will do something about the service. Because this is not an advertisement like I am used to Loetje elsewhere in the Netherlands. - service tried to save the evening. Nice and cheerful but cannot save the incompetence of the bar and kitchen. Shame. Tipped the wait staff who tried to save the evening. Months after its opening, Loetje Maastricht is still not a smooth running machine. No more Loetje Maastricht for me!
