Wir waren heute im Restaurant Rota essen und was soll ich sagen: die Bedienung ist nett, der Wein ist gut und die Lage ist ok. Allerdings kann ich von meinem Essen nur abraten. Gegrilltes Gemüse, die Kernkompetenz der Türken, was wirklich in jedem noch so kleinen Restaurant sensationell ist, ist hier eine totale Entäuschung. Kalt, halb roh, geschmacklos wird es nach mehr als einer halben Stunde serviert. Nach meiner Reklamation wurde es nochmal in die Küche gebracht, und kam nach ein paar Minuten wieder zurück. Das gleiche lahme Gemüse, um ein paar Grad wärmer. Dies dann noch als ganzes zu verrechnen, obwohl der Kellner gesehen hat, dass es nicht gut war, finde ich schon dreist. Leider ein klares Nein zum Essen. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₺700–800 Vegetarian options: Kann ich nicht empfehlen!

Leckeres Essen und super freundliche Kellner. Man hat sich hier als Tourist sehr wohl gefühlt. Abendessen inkl. Live Musik. Sehr zu empfehlen! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₺1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Jump on the ferry boat and head to kadikoy which is located on the Asian side of Istanbul... Squat in the busy streets and enjoy some shopping before you get to Rota restaurant, the best fish restaurant in town!!! Quality + budget + location, all this combo is available... Enjoy your fresh fish with the delicious fish mezze while sipping some raki (or arak in Lebanese terms) MUST Do!!
