Had a wonderful evening at Proti Restoran and would happily return again. The setting right beside the sea is absolutely lovely, especially as the sun begins to soften over the water and Istanbul appears in the distance like a painted skyline. There’s something beautifully relaxed about this place, the sort of atmosphere where time slows down and another drink somehow feels entirely reasonable. The prawns were incredibly fresh, delicate and full of flavour, served simply with olive oil in a way that let the seafood speak for itself. The cold beer, sea breeze and calming sound of the waves made the whole experience feel effortlessly perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere felt warm, local and genuine.
