We were a couple of International visitors to Rotterdam staying overnight and looking at what restaurants and bars we could visit locally. There are quite a number of restaurants and bars in the area, but Nursia stood out for the number of people (mainly young people) who were patronising the place. I noticed that they were advertising the fact that they were serving home made pasta and seeing that, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We ordered a bottle of wine and selected two pasta dishes and both were beautiful. In fact, as good as any pasta we have had anywhere. The wine, a Pinot Noir, was also excellent. The service was a little slow, but I put this down to the large crowd that was there on this, a Friday night, which I was told is always busy. I didn’t get the name of the two young guys who were in charge, but they were doing an excellent job and obvious by the number of people they knew, also popular. By the time we departed, the restaurant was just about completely booked out. Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

shout out to our host that although he was alone while we were dining, he was really attentive! food was really tasty and the wine was lovely. would definitely come back again! Price per person: €50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The pasta was out of this world - perfectly cooked and with amazing flavors. We ordered the carbonara and the sausage with spicy tomato sauce and loved both. The burrata salad was also amazing. And so many choices for wine! We will definitely be back.
