Everything and I mean everything came with vegetables even the fries sandwich which is supposed to be only fries came with vegetables and even the foul came with vegetables and it's really unnecessary to put vegetables to everything in my opinion I would say not to visit this place and the food is disgusting even if it came without the vegetables and it also came out cold Meal type: Dinner Price per person: E£1–200 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

During my visit to Cairo, I suddenly craved falafel. Being Lebanese, I’ve grown up with what I consider some of the best falafel in the world. But locals insisted that if I wanted the true Egyptian experience, I had to try Falafel Neama—and they were absolutely right. The place itself is simple, welcoming, and very affordable. This isn’t a fancy tourist restaurant—it’s an authentic local spot where the focus is purely on flavor. The prices were incredibly cheap compared to what I’m used to, making it even more enjoyable. The falafel was noticeably different from Lebanese falafel. In Lebanon, we usually use chickpeas, but in Egypt, they often use fava beans. This gave the falafel a softer, creamier inside while keeping it perfectly crispy on the outside. The herbs made the inside a vibrant green, and the toppings were also different—fresh vegetables, unique pickles, and flavorful sauces with a distinctly Egyptian twist. The taste was excellent—light, flavorful, and balanced, making it easy to eat more than one sandwich without feeling heavy. It was familiar yet excitingly new, like tasting a dish you’ve known all your life but from a completely different perspective. Service was outstanding. Our server was friendly, patient, and went out of his way to help us, even offering extra toppings to try. The atmosphere was relaxed, filled with locals coming in and out, which told me right away that this was a place worth trusting. By the time I left, I knew I’d be back. Falafel Neama gave me one of my most memorable food experiences in Cairo—delicious, affordable, and served with genuine hospitality. Next time I’m in the city, it will be one of my first stops.
