We came for a 70th birthday party and tried a variety of dishes. The food was generally below expectations, but the raw seafood was good and the Lula seafood platter was actually well balanced. The clam sautee was too salty and the scampi cream risotto lacked punch, herbs and flavour. Wine prices were reasonable and we drank well. Service wise, we had mixed feelings. The staff was young and polite, however, there were a few pitfalls. Mainly, that the waiters insisted it was not possible to serve us the raw seafood tasting platters that were on the menu. This was because it was a 'big' table (8 adults), and each tasting platter required the use of 3 small dishes, which would have made it difficult for the kitchen to handle. They tried to make each of us choose the type of seafood we individually wanted in order to make a couple of platters with said seafood. Unfortuntely, there was no way of explicitly pricing this as this option was not on the menu, and we fancied trying the seafood tasting platter as written on the menu (7 different seafood nibbles). In the end they accommodated us, which we appreciated, but it was not a good start of the meal, since serving 4 menu items shouldn't have been such a big deal (we were ordering 4, not 8 seafood tasting platters) The restaurant is set in a beautiful location and the atmosphere is pleasant. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €60–70

Buonasera sono Andrea il proprietario ,la ringrazio per la recensione e per i complimenti ricevuti,dissento però sulla votazione finale dato che ricordo bene quella sera e nonostante eravate un tavolo numeroso con prenotazione alle ore 20:00, al momento della comanda presa alle ore 20:50 non per causa nostra ,abbiamo consigliato di non prendere misti da 7 portate per non farvi attendere troppo dato che si tratta di una cucina esclusivamente espressa,ma sopratutto perché gli altri clienti erano oramai arrivati all’orario previsto e la sala era piena ,nonostante questo abbiamo accolto tutte le vostre richieste o dubbi al tavolo e non pensiamo di meritare nel complesso 3 stelle.Le auguro un buon fine settimana,vi aspettiamo, e la ringrazio nuovamente per aver scelto Lula per festeggiare la ricorrenza.
