We were lured into dining here for their attractive happy hour beer offering: 50cl draft beer for 65 Turkish lira. The tavern boasts as being one of the smallest in Europe and started in the 40s and frequented by celebrities like Rimbaud. The beer was indeed ice cold and refreshing! We ordered a couple of mezzes - spicy tomato paste and anchovies on bread. One from our group said that the anchovies were especially sour and tangy, so not sure they’d have it again. The falafel wrap portion was smaller than other places. It had an especially nutty taste, which was unique and delicious otherwise. The stuffed mussels were a hit. They came from another busy restaurant down the street but were also offered on Lambo’s menu. The meat platter was apparently filling and well-prepared. The customer service was friendly and excellent. The owner was attentive and kept refilling our bread basket. They also had wifi. Price per person: ₺200–300 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
