I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kumperija in Skopje, and I must say, it was a truly enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions I had about the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was filled with a wide variety of traditional Macedonian dishes, as well as some unique and modern twists on classic favorites. I started off with the grilled octopus, which was cooked to perfection and served with a delicious garlic aioli. For my main course, I opted for the traditional Macedonian dish called tavce gravce, which was hearty and flavorful, with tender beans, smoked meat, and spices. The portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food and service. I also appreciated the extensive selection of local wines, which were expertly paired with the dishes by the knowledgeable staff. Overall, I would highly recommend Kumperija to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience in Skopje.
