Bread is good but nothing artisanal about it. Pastries are bad. Fruit tart creations are smeared with some synthetic product, totally inedible. The butter croissants have no taste and are not recommended. Nothing Dutch about this bakery. Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: BGN 10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

. Before writing this review, we visited this so-called Dutch Bakery several times to make sure that what I write is true. Croissants with butter - so they are advertised, but the croissant-shaped bun has nothing to do with a real croissant - the flour is not croissant flour, the technology is clearly not croissant technology. Viennoiserie - with fruit and cream patisserie: cream is a distant relative of cream pastry chef, the fruit is like cooked. Country bread - good, crumbly bread with a very light, airy texture (in other countries, country bread has a denser consistency, but maybe there are different concepts of country bread!) as a general opinion - a simple bakery, with products that have an attractive kind, but they are very far from the originals. I say this with a 100% guarantee for the products I have tried. I will not comment on the behavior and attitude of the staff. Today a lady almost scolded me for asking for the rustic bread to be sliced - we don't cut warm bread! And the bread that was given to me was definitely cold. The machine would break down if they were cutting warm bread - an illogical explanation, especially if the bread was not actually warm. How do the owners of this oven think of developing if their staff is far from professionally trained!? Or is it based on the fact that in other bakeries the quality of the bread is even lower, and only pies, burettes and other similar things are sold, and people want variety!? A must try!All in all these bakery is a breath of air to escape routine.You can smell a mix of vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate and professionalism when entering any of it's branches.Their croissants are good, their cakes are good, the bread is ok (is a matter of tastes and getting used to them).I have tried the ham and cheese croissant and was pretty decent. The one I liked the most was the cinnamon croissant. Also they had an easter cake with chocolate that was a sin.Jovan is one if those bakeries on which you are tempted to try every product they have because of the variety and especially because the first pastry you try may leave tou craving for more.On their website you can filter their products by allergens which is great. Unfortunately you cannot find a full list of the products they offer.JoVan the Dutch bakery is definitely a must try..
