We saw jorj while walking around Bucharest on our holiday from England and booked it as the exterior looked lovely and the menu was diverse. My partner left a note for the restaurant to tell them we were dining to celebrate our anniversary and asked for somewhere private if possible. Our time and service and jorj was probably one of the best visits I’ve had at a restaurant across the board. We were seated inside in a nice private area, congratulated on the occasion and given a free glass of prosecco each -we were immediately made to feel welcome. Our server Malki was amazing, she made the whole visit perfect and was incredibly attentive and kind, we couldn’t be more grateful for her service. She checked in with us often enough but wasn’t overbearing at all, offered great recommendations and was a pleasure all evening. By the end I wanted to try a dessert and asked for ice cream but my partner just planned on having a coffee, malki asked if my partner were to have any ice cream flavour what he would’ve chosen, and brought him a scoop of pistachio as a kind gesture. If you’re in Bucharest this place is a must! We felt like royalty and the food was some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
