Avoid this place and listen to the negative reviews here. Extremely unprofessional staff and horrible waiter. I believe his name was Alessandro. He was completely lost and could not manage one single table. He added something to our bill that we had not ordered. Based on the previous reviews here, it's an ongoing thing and it makes me think this place is a scam! The food was ok and the chef was nice but I would not recommend this if it was the last place in Rome. At the end they could not run my card and later realized that they didnt have the machine connected right. Complete disaster.

We had dinner in Il San Pietrino 2 weeks ago while staying in Rome.The food was not well cooked, the big shirmps were not well cleaned (intestinal tracks still in) and not entirely grilled, the lobster was not well boiled. The waiter Allesandro (first he claimed he was the owner then he claimed to be the waiter when we complained about the quality of the food) acted as if he was 'the popular guy' but made a circus of crushing the lobster legs, he constantly dropped cutlery, forgot one ordered plate, brought several things we did not order, we intercepted right in time for the wrong bottle to be opened … The bill contained the things we did not order and did not eat and he called the police because we did not want to pay the 20 Euro extra … what a circus, what a waste of time and money ! Simply disgusting !

Great placeIt’s a small place tucked away in a corner that no one seems to notice, but that’s a good thing as we can keep the fabulous Food a secret.The staff of Super friendly, and always want to help. They speak enough English to help you order, but try your Italian out on them, they will help you.The Seafood was unbelievably Fresh and Tasted amazing. The Wine was great, and the Oil sweat with the Soft Warm Bread.We will definitely be going back.
