Welcoming and simple hotel, clean room with all comforts, assorted breakfast for all tastes. Excellent service, availability of the managers who helped us resolve a problem with our car, took us to a mechanic and went back and forth several times to take us to the centre. Thank you so much, it will be our home if we return to Carloforte. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

We stayed in this hotel after mid-August, the reception was empty and we had to wait 30 minutes, the lady arrived and we asked if we could have lunch and dinner but we were denied, telling us that they had run out of tables because they had already been booked from outside (but a hotel is not should guarantee a table for his guests) Missing TV and broken shower Abbat jour light bulbs burnt out, thin walls where you can hear everything in the other rooms so you have to speak in a whisper for fear of being heard. It's a shame because the place where it is located is spectacular. Food & drinks: Restaurant not available for guests. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3 Hotel highlights: Great view

Should the owners leave the tables empty on mid-August for any hotel guests who have bothered to book a room but not a table? We live in the hotel and have 20 rooms so at least 40 guests are unlikely the reception remains empty for 3. We never have lunch but only dinner so nothing personsle against you in particular for us an extra table is an extra profit. The absence of the TV is reported in all the guides as an advantage, it has never been present in the rooms for 40 years due to a choice of silence, relaxation, distance from any contact with the outside. No one has ever complained about the thin walls or the broken door, she was really very unlucky, the level of tolerance of other people's noises is always very subjective. Beautiful stay in a family run hotel, the food is amazing and freshly made, the restaurant has incredible views across the bay. There are some small beaches within walking distance, not crowded like the main ones. If you didn't bring a car to the island there is a bus that goes past 3 times a day, the owner very kindly dropped me to the beach and the ferry. Thank you all at hotel Paola. Recommend staying here for a lovely break. Service: 5
