A wonderful dining experience in this beautiful, little hidden gem of a restaurant. This is classic Roman cuisine done with contemporary finesse. The dining room is comfortable, while not large. There is also outdoor seating available when things get busy. Hidden away on a quiet side street, this restaurant affords a lovely setting for a family or intimate dinner.My wife and I enjoyed sharing the classic antipasti spread of cold meats (salami, prosciutto, coppa), olives and cheese. Wonderful! Then she had the grilled sea bass, while I had the spaghetti carbonara, followed by grilled veal. To die for! The veal melted in my mouth.The atmosphere was quite intimate and romantic. Mario (the owner) was working the dining room the night we were in, and being as we were rather early (7:00-ish), it wasn't too busy for him to take some time talking with us in his near-perfect English. What a fascinating fellow! We understand that things pick up as the evening progresses and they get quite busy, so I'd recommend getting there sooner, rather than later.Run, don't walk, to Hostaria Rasella next time you're in Rome!
