On that day, during the Christmas week, we were operating with limited stock and informed you in advance that butter chicken would be prepared fresh, which naturally requires additional time. You agreed to wait, and the dish was cooked from raw chicken in front of you, not reheated or pre-made. Regarding portions: we serve standardized portions equally to every customer. We do not reduce quantity based on the person, order size, or situation. The butter chicken you received contained chicken breast and thigh pieces cooked in gravy, served with basmati rice. The side compartment with onions is part of our standard Indian-style serving, not a replacement for the main dish. We are sorry that the food did not match your taste preference. However, we respectfully disagree with the claim of “cheapest ingredients” — we cook fresh, use whole spices, and prepare food in-house daily. As a small independent business, quality and honesty matter deeply to us. We also acknowledge your feedback about seating and space. Holy Moly is a compact kitchen-focused place, and we clearly communicate this. Still, your point is noted, and we are continuously working to improve. Despite the situation, we offered complimentary chai as a goodwill gesture, because we truly care about our guests’ experience. We are sorry you left disappointed — that was never our intention.
