This review is for the new cairo lotus location. So, i am an American living in new cairo for the last year or so. I have been trying to find a pizza place that makes "American style" pizza. When I saw a happy Joe's here, I first thought it was some sort of a knock off as happy Joe's is not a widely known chain In America. Happy Joe's started in my small home state in Iowa in the US, so I have been eating it since I was a small child. When I found out the locations here were legitimate happy Joe's locations I was happy, but figured it would not be the same. They are known for their "taco pizza" in the US, which again, is not widely known outside of their geographic location in America. I tried the pepperoni pizza just as my first order as they are easier to get right. While it was not exactly the same as in the US, It was very close, and it was the best pepperoni pizza I've had here in Cairo. About 10 minutes after my pizza was delivered, happy Joe's called to see how it was. That was a nice gesture that they care about the quality of what they are selling. I let them know it was good. And nice to have something that reminded me of home. I will order again soon, and will try the taco pizza next to see how it compares. I will add to this long review after I try it. Ordered 3 items 1- Wings: they were RAW!!!! , informed the waiter , and he brought back the same wings after 10 minutes, but this time they were burntt 2- ceaser salad: too much ceaser sauce or mayonnaise i dont know , we couldnt eat it was too sour 3- pizza : was fine elhamdulelah Meal type: Dinner Price per person: E£200–300 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
