Spiessteller gut,bis auf den Hähchengrill und Hähnchengyros. Zu teuer für im Vergleich Deutschland . Aber in Rom wohl unter Griechicher Küche. Ok. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30

Ein wirklich gutes Restaurant mit einem tollen Essen. Alles super. Wir waren zweimal hier: erstens, weil es uns beim ersten Mal sehr gut gefallen hat und zweitens, weil andere Restaurants in der Umgebung entweder schlechter oder geschlossen waren (Ostern). Der Kellner konnte sich bei unserem zweiten Besuch sogar daran erinnern was wir beim ersten Mal bestellt hatten inklusive Getränke. Das ist Service. Zudem waren alle sehr nett und wirklich gut in ihrem Job. Kurzum alles perfekt und absolut zu empfehlen. Vom Essen hab ich leider keine Fotos gemacht, aber es war wirklich sehr lecker. I minimized my visits to Italian restaurants years ago and stopped eating in any of them completely this year because I came to a realisation that all of them (with the exception of some pizzerias that anyhow do not provide enough nutrients or variety to be considered restaurants) serve boring, flavourless food (mainly white flour in a dozen variations and grilled meat) that is low on protein, where well cooked pulses and herbs are unheard of. I was thrilled to see that a Greek restaurant is located a couple of hundred meters from my accommodation and ordered on wolt. Every item is delectable and I will eat Grekos every day for the rest of my stay in Rome. Update : Today, the 3rd December I had lunch at Grekos. The Persian waiter (Mohd Reza) was very courteous and friendly. However, the food was less impressive than what I ordered yesterday. The khoriatiki salad had tasty feta but the three olives present were the lame processed (non-pitted) olives from jars. The salad had no capers and no fresh herbs besides very little oregano so it does not qualify as a village salad. The mastiha liquor is tasty and the price of 0.75 litre sparkling water is very reasonable at only 2 Euros. However, the olive oil bottle on the table which supposedly is Greek extra virgin oil from Kalamata is at best case scenario very old olive oil mixed with other vegetable oils. It is possibly an adulterated oil to which chemicals are added to smell like olive oil (the worst case scenario). The practice of providing free and unlimited "olive oil" in restaurants in Italy is extremely problematic as genuine olive oil prices are very high. I recommend the owner think out of the box and break away from this hypocritical and potentially unhealthy practice. It is best to charge extra for a portion of genuine olive oil. Those who care for their health and wellbeing and are not in the habit of living in a fool's paradise will appreciate this. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
