Preise etwas überhöht, es geht auch deutlich günstiger in Istanbul. Ansonsten nettes Personal. Das Essen war lecker. Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Excellent food and lovely service. A true gem of a restaurant just down the hill from the mosque in Old Sultanhammet. An idyllic ambience - cool music - and a really varied and appealing menu. All very original Turkish food but slightly more unusual than many of the other restaurants nearby. I see this is one of the highest rated restaurants and I can really see why. Flavours are all excellent. We have various starters - spinach with butter and garlic was awesome. Then we had two meat dishes ( meatballs with pistachio and Spartacus kebab - wonderful beef and lamb, falling apart like butter in your mouth! And a delicious complimentary dessert - not sure what it was but so lovely. ( it was actually eggplant with honey nights and cream - awesome). Definitely a high point of our trip to Istanbul and highly highly recommended. Wine price was reasonable too. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₺2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian varied options - casseroles and mezzos.

We had an amazing experience at Oldest Ethnic Ottomare Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, the food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was full of rich traditional flavors. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. A perfect place to enjoy real Ottoman and Turkish cuisine in a beautiful setting.
