We visited Fika during our trip to Riga and it quickly became one of our favourite sweet treats of the trip. The bakes looked incredible in the display, but somehow tasted even better. I chose the strawberry brownie, which genuinely tasted like strawberry ice cream in brownie form. The flavour was rich and creamy without being overly sweet, and the texture was perfectly soft and indulgent. My partner tried the peanut brownie, which was equally delicious, packed with flavour and topped with a generous amount of frosting. Both desserts felt freshly made and were beautifully presented. The café had a cosy atmosphere and was the perfect place to stop for something sweet while exploring the city. We’d happily return to try more of the menu next time we’re in Riga.
