Johannesburg Fort ist was ihr nach dem Essen in diesem Restaurant sehen solltet. Die mediterrane Küche kann hier entdeckt werden. Ethos überrascht euch mit perfekt zubereitenem Fisch, gut zubereitetem Hähnchen und besonders guter Pasta.

Es ist bemerkenswert, dass die Bedienung hier als gut beschrieben wird. Wie ihr seht, hat dieser Ort großartiges Dekor.

The waiters were rushing and pushing us to order. They brought all our dishes at one time even after we said we’ll be sharing and they should bring each item one by one! There portions were also very small and not up to standard. Overall i wouldn’t recommend and it’s not even worth half the price we paid.

I enjoyed a lunch date with friends at Ethos in sandton and this is what I thought.

Food : I ordered the crayfish linguine and the cray fish was cooked really well it was soft and came off the shell without any difficulty, the pasta was also prepared well and had just the right amount of creaminess. The only issue I had is it lacked seasoning so I did have to add salt and chilli to try give it some flavour. I'd rate this dish 6/10

The drinks I ordered where berry finest and Ginato 75 ,I would say these where definitely overpriced as the glasses they where offered in where small . Berry finest did not taste good at all felt like I was drinking guava juice and the cocktail was quite thick which was strange. Drinks 1/10

I enjoy food. For some people ambiance and decor is more important than what arrives on the plate - if this is you then you’ll enjoy Ethos, but for me it was very disappointing. The food was bland (when I need to ask for sauce for peri-peri chicken it speaks volumes). Overall the food does not nearly match the prices being charged.
Service was friendly and efficient though and the curfew notice was handled very politely.
