Sehr nette Atmosphere aus Feinkostgeschäft und Restaurant. Allerdings sollte der Koch erkennen können, dass eine steinharte Avocado ungeniessbar ist. Service freundlich aber auf Studentenniveau ohne Kenntnisse im Service.

This is a Wine, Meat&Cheese store, with a restaurant. Large selection of Wine and prosciutto type meats, cheese, stuffed peppers and olives. We ordered 2 house wines, a meatball appetizer, a bag of bread was dumped on the table and we ordered mezzo all’amatrica and mezzo carbonara, both contained guanciale. Total bill € 84. Issues - If you sit outside, there are bugs that bite when the sun goes down. With such a large selection of wines by the bottle, the menu only had 3 reds to choose from BY THE GLASS for €10. There was a BOTTLE of nice Montepulciano di Abbruzi for €12 on the shelf by our table after we moved inside. The meatball appetizer had excellent taste but were served “Possilbly” from a microwave? They were unevenly warm or cold in spots. As for the pasta; I have lived in Italy for over 9 years, the mezze noodles were about a minute or LESS shy of al’ dente. The guanciale in both dishes were hard,square chunks of “who knows what kind of meat?” Tasteless other than salt. Guanciale means “Cheek” and those that I have eaten are luscious, moist and bursting with flavor! Dear Customer, thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the service charge, the timing of the pasta, and the temperature of the appetizers. This does not reflect our usual standards. We carefully source our guanciale and traditional ingredients, so we are sorry to hear they did not meet your palate. Your feedback about the wine list by the glass and the outdoor area is very helpful, and we are already working to address these points. We hope to welcome you back for a much better experience.

Initially, we were very impressed, we ordered a black pig platter, and it was amazing. However, there were two major issues. Firstly, our pasta course was served cold, when we returned it, it was then returned to us having been microwaved, I could tell for two reasons, I had eaten one of the three clams it was served with and it had suffered in flavour. Secondly, it was supposed to be happy hour, with 50% off cocktails, only to be told (with no indication on the menu) that this discount was for a small selection of cocktails. So, we left having eaten absolutely fantastic meat, some of the worst pasta I've ever eaten and feeling a bit ripped off. I very rarely give bad reviews, as things can go wrong from time to time, but these were all conscious actions.
