I hesitate to post a review with all glowing reports but Elevato deserves it. I am amazed by people posting negative reviews, they either have never been there, work for competitors or have little experience. I have been to this restaurant numerous times and have been to top restaurants in Ukraine, the USA and Europe. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a smile by the hostess. The entire staff is one of the best in Kyiv, many coming from the other higher end restaurants in Kyiv. The service staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the extremely diverse menu and the sommelier can give great suggestions on wines to pair with your selections. Again great professionalism and attention to detail which is what is demanded at a high end restaurant. As I said, the menu is diverse and "tasty" to say the least. Whether you order from the European menu or the Asian menu, I have never been disappointed. It is also continually being updated and upgraded so it is never be boring or stale. The deserts must be tried with the unique cheesecake and apple tart being my personal favorites. Many do not know about the cigar lounge upstairs to cap off an evening. It is quaint with a quiet exhaust fan system to keep smoke at a minimum. The best for last : There is no better view in Kyiv, overlooking the Dnipro and left bank city lights with the golden domes of the Pechersk Lavra out the windows. The place is a gem with a well trained staff and attention to details. High end restaurants can come and go. To succeed long term they must provide great service, great atmosphere and finally great food. People will continually come back when all three are present. Elevato does a great job with all three and is always trying to be even better it seems. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
