Ein stilvolles Ambiente, exzellenter Service und eine Küche auf höchstem Niveau: Das Restaurant EGO überzeugt mit kreativen Kompositionen, fein abgestimmten Aromen und handwerklicher Präzision. Quite uneven evening at Ego. The food experience was enjoyable, with some dishes fabulous (the amuse bouche and the duck in particular), others fell a bit flat. Very warm service. I don't recall commenting on the decor, but in this I have to say I absolutely hated it. Some is probably question of taste, but the worst was the lighting, spotlights high on the ceiling, wrong temperature, casting ugly shadows, making the whole space even more cold and inhospitable. The fact the the dinner kept varying every few minutes only made things worse. Please please fix this so we can concentrate on the food. Price per person: €90–100

Ego is one of those restaurants that manages to feel both refined and welcoming at the same time. The food is creative without being overly complicated. What I appreciated most was the balance between innovation and flavor. Nothing felt done just for show. The service was attentive, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxed, and the whole experience felt thoughtfully curated from start to finish.
