I was somewhat worried when the Spur Group bought Doppio’s recently, but have to say I was delighted when one opened closer to home at the Mall of Africa. The tapas are all pretty yummy and I had a very generous portion of beer battered fish and chips with crushed minted peas. Service was friendly, but not incredibly attentive when you’re seated outside on the square. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 350–400 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

The place is nice, but we got the worst experience with some waitress she wear a different uniform from other waitress. She is xhosa. She is soooo rute Price per person: R 150–200 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

After shopping and walking around MoA, we decided to go to Doppio for a coffee and some cake. This is around 8pm in the evening, in late December, yes during the festive period. However it was a normal working day in the retail business during the last week of December. At around 8pm. And we get told the kitchen is closed, no explanation or apology, just straight no, and it is only making take away coffees not serving sit down customers. In Doppio Zero Mall of Africa? A multimillion rand franchise in South Africa ?? Absolutely pathetic. You're losing both customers and business with this poor level of service. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
