The reviews here are to harsh. I wanted to complain about the Wellness closing too early in winter (if the sun sets early it should be open late) and that the hotel should offer package deals for nights, breakfast and diner because for a 3-star hotel, it gets pricey when you add on all the extras but now I feel like I must defend the place. Perfectly quiet place in the middle of nowhere, amazing food both for diner and breakfast. Rooms are very nice, comfortable, well isolated and yes the wifi isn't great and neither is the water pressure but the water heats up instantly which is amazing. The hotel offers easy hikes starting at the castle. Really recommend this place! Rooms: 5 Service: 3 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly

THE WORST HOTEL'S NEATNESS AND SO-CALLED "WELLNESS" EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD I booked a room in Domaine de Ronchinne after calling explicitly 10 times to get information about the facilities and services offered by the Hotel, alongside with a couples' massage. BOTH OF THE LATTER ended being awful: the hotel room was dirty (see pictures attached) and the "massage" could be easily categorized as a "hidden-camera" joke. As soon as we arrived, we received the "massage" (which was not finished as we were astonished by the situation), later on headed to the room and saw it was nothing like I had initially booked (it was dirty: hair in the shower, dirty-stained sheets and some old dirty tissue under the bed). We then left the room 5 minutes after entering with all our belongings, spoke with the Hotel's receptionist, explained him the dreadful service we had received and told him that we were leaving the premises as we were utterly shocked about the overall short experience. Between this and the arrival time, only 2 hours had passed. I then asked for AT LEAST the reimbursement of the hotel room as we had not use it at all. We were told that according to their policy, if we had entered the room -even for 2 minutes-, it was considered as "used", that the wellness services "were outside of the Hotel's responsibility" even if these are offered on their website but that, nevertheless, the Hotel would contact us after talking to the management for a possible reimbursement of the massage, the room or both, which never happened. This was simply a disrespectful tactic to avoid scaring other costumers present at the time. Let me please explain why I am now leaving this unpleasant review: we received he referred wellness service that was sold to us as an "exterior and interior massage". I had called in advanced to get further explanations about the service, having been reassured that it was a "full body relaxing massage". Also, the environment where it was conducted is put in pictures on their website in a very different scenario that where it really takes place: the room was extremely messy and dirty, did not have a separate room to take our clothes off (we had to strip in front of two women that were checking us with zero intimacy) nor a place to leave our belongings properly, neither we received a bath robe, sheet or towel to cover ourselves as we headed to the massage. Furthermore, the two "masseuses" were extremely unprofessional (barefoot, dirty gym clothes), the carpet had stains on it, the anti-hygienic sheets that they covered us with smelled utterly bad... At the entrance of the room, there were 2 dirty bicycles covered in mud, so NOTHING alike as advertised on the website, where you can find this open-mystic-green-relaxing area. You might think that I am exaggerating but make no mistake, the whole wellness area could be take down by sanitary inspectors. If this was not enough, the massage that we received for 200 euros included the vibration of bells on our back and random legs and arms' slapping. Lastly, one of the women ended up playing the flute followed by the accordion while the other one sang a sort of Buddhist song. I am not joking. In 3 different occasions, I asked to please "massage" me and she did nothing else except unpleasantly pinching my neck. So after this SURREALISTE experience, we talked to the manager of the reception because we were astonished, receiving an extremely poor treatment. Which makes all of this upsetting -besides losing within barely 2 hours around 500 EUR for something we truly thought was a "hidden camera" situation- is that I had called 10 times (I also have screenshots of all these calls) before arriving in order to make sure I got one of the rooms publicized and receive a NORMAL massage. Lastly, I would like to point out that, if this all was not BAD enough, I was retained 150 euros extra in my card for several weeks, having to call 4 times and send 2 different emails to solve the issue.
