Zyperns einzige Gay-Bar. Der Besitzer macht das angeblich seit ca. dreißig Jahren. Eine normale Bar, aber sehr angenehm vom Ambiente. Achtung an alle Mittel- und Nordeuropäer: die Öffnungszeiten sind eher als Richtwert. Vor 21:30 Uhr war nicht auf ;-). Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €5–10

Different bar was opened by Panos in 1993. Not supposedly, it has been open since then. In wintertime, our opening hours are more flexible due to weather and less tourism. Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung! xx

Great drinks and music. One of the nicest bars and interiors in the area. Also a nice touch with the free popcorn. Would’ve loved a little more interaction between customers talking and dancing but I expect that this is something that is reflective of LGBT life in Cyprus rather than Different bar specifically and hopefully this will improve in Cyprus with time - it certainly is busier in terms of customer numbers on the weekends too. Still met some nice people at the bar though along the way! Panos the owner was lovely and really looks after customers and provides personal touches. Looking forward to seeing the bar grow further over the coming years. Will recommend to others who visit Cyprus and Hopefully will make it back soon!

After 30 years open, I doubt that anything needs more time to improve.Customers tend to interact perfectly fine, usually. It must’ve been a weird night! ;) Also, it’s pretty rare to find Cypriots in Different bar, you must be referring to the difficulty tourists have talking between themselves… Thank you for your kind words!
