Delys A scandal! Our worst experience in terms of service and quality. Here is a detailed summary of our experience which I hope will dissuade you from setting foot in this establishment. We went to Delys with my partner a fortnight ago (we love gastronomy and have plenty to compare). We waited a good 10 minutes at the table before being offered the menu or an aperitif (the latter arrived after 20 minutes) while being in an extremely noisy environment although the place remained visually pleasant. We tasted the appetizers with our hands (impractical and messy) while drinking our aperitif with a straw that was half the glass. Then we were told that it was not possible to have wine on the menu but only from a selection, which for our part is completely unusual for an establishment of this type. The first glasses were served to us in excessively dirty glasses with the justification being a faulty dishwasher. Then comes a culinary disaster composed of unrefined dishes, poorly presented on dirty plates and with more than questionable seasonings. We add to this an inexperienced waiter (which does not pose a problem at first glance, everyone starts one day) who announces the dishes to us inaudibly and who forgets certain parts of the dish. To finish with the icing on the cake, we forget our last dessert planned on the menu, telling ourselves that it is no longer possible to serve it to us, asking if we would like something to drink instead. After having kept our calm until the end, this umpteenth blunder led us to express our dissatisfaction and ask for the bill. The room manager then found nothing better than to verbally attack us by putting the blame on us and yelling at us when we took a glass on display at the entrance to show her how dirty she was. When adding up, no discount for the missing dessert or for the deplorable quality and service. In short, an expected and enjoyable gastronomic evening turned into a real nightmare at a price of €340.
