Nach einem Besuch von Oltrarno, ist es eine nette Idee, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Stöbert durch die japanische Speisekarte. Ihr werdet gut zubereitete Sashimi, besonders guten gebratenen Mais und guten Fisch auf der Speisekarte finden. Das schmackhafte Gelato wird hier oft von Besuchern bestellt.
Großartiges Personal begrüßt Besucher das ganze Jahr über. Die professionelle Bedienung demonstriert ein hohes Qualitätsniveau in Da Kou. Dieser Ort umgibt seine Kunden mit einem gemütlichen Ambiente.

For a ramen place in Italy it's not bad, but if you've eaten a lot of ramen in your life it's definitely not up to standard, also the ramen is has some strange ingredients in it, including cabbage or lettuce in it. Service was great, and ambiance is really good as well.

This is NOT a Japanese restaurant, it is Chinese disguised as Japanese. They have dim sum on the menu, but that isn't the bad part. Both the service and food are terrible, Ramen tastes like Chinese noddle, rice used to make the roll is mushy. And service is even worse than the food.

I'm from Los Angeles and I'm a sushi junkie. I have to get my fix every other day or I get the shakes. I'd been in Italy without sushi for about 10 days or so and was in panic mode. My husband and I had failed a mission to find sushi in the riviera, when the place we were trekking to - that apparently did Japanese/Italian fusion, whatever that can possibly be - was closed upon our arrival. When we got to Florence, I was pleased to see a number of local sushi restaurants... However when I tried to find a reservation for dinner it seemed that most of the ones that looked good we're all full. Da Kou seemed more like a ramen spot from the description but we decided to chance it, and thankfully it exceeded my expectations. To start we had miso soup and seaweed salad. Both were wonderful. The miso broth was actually the best I've had in some time. Rich and flavorful. So often miso seems weak and watered down. Not the case here at all. Perhaps this ramen place thing was a plus after all. We had the meat gyoza, tuna tataki, and a specialty roll with shrimp tempura and spicy mayo. Again, everything was very good. The gyoza were large and flavorful, plump and juicy inside, with a pan crisp on the outside. The tuna tataki is seared and sesame crusted. The fish was fresh, and the texture wasn't chewy at all. And the roll was good. I wish they had more fresh roll options but the shrimp in this one was top notch. I personally could've done without so much of the mayo, but no biggie, I removed half as I ate each piece. We decided to skip dessert but the waitress brought us a little plate of fresh pineapple with butterscotch on the house. Great service. And I got my fix! Phew.
