Das Personal war freundlich und das Ambiente schön. Leider konnte das Essen nicht ganz überzeugen: Das Steak war durch statt medium rare, das Beef Tatar durchschnittlich, und das Hähnchen im Caesar-Salat etwas trocken – auch wenn das Dressing wirklich köstlich war. Die geräucherte Aal-Creme war lecker, der Cocktail dagegen nicht gut ausbalanciert. Insgesamt: nette Atmosphäre, aber geschmacklich nur mittelmäßig. This was an absolutely disappointing experience. I had much higher expectations for this place. I ordered the beef bourguignon and a tarte Tatin for dessert - both dishes that I can actually cook myself. The beef bourguignon was simply terrible. The whole point of the dish is that the beef should be incredibly tender. That's why it needs to be slow-cooked for several hours. I suspect it's not a popular item on the menu, so they may not prepare it regularly. The beef I was served was tough and rubbery. It was very difficult to chew, and the pieces were surprisingly small. I think the problem wasn't just the cooking time but the cut of beef also seemed inappropriate for this dish. The sauce, which should be a rich combination of red wine and beef stock, was completely bland. The only good part of the dish was the mashed potatoes. I also wasn't a fan of the presentation. Traditionally, the mashed potatoes and the beef bourguignon are served together so the potatoes soak up the sauce. I also lacked mushrooms. If a restaurant can't prepare a dish properly, it shouldn't be on the menu. I hoped the tarte Tatin would be better, but unfortunately it was just as disappointing. The apples weren't properly caramelised, the caramel had an overpowering burnt flavour, I could barely taste any cinnamon, and the puff pastry wasn't good either. It was anything but a proper tarte Tatin. My friends ordered the steak with fries. I tried a piece myself. The fries were good, and so was the wine sauce, but the steak itself was one of the most mediocre I've ever had. It was cooked acceptably but lacked basic seasoning. We also received the chef's complimentary appetizer before our main dishes - small tarts with goat cheese and lime sauce. It was decent, but nothing memorable. But anyway, it was a good gesture. The service was good, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I genuinely hope they'll improve the quality of the food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₾70–80
