Sehr schöner Stellplatz.Ein behinderter Mitarbeiter der einem Alles erklärt und sich sichtlich Mühe gibt einem Alles zu erklären.Außerordenlich netter Mensch.Die Duschen funktionieren nur mit Salzwasser,was mich nicht gestört hat.Ich würde wieder dort hinfahren.Der Strand daneben ist schön und ein Restaurant ist auch daneben.

Once you have fought your way through the tourist castles that have been built to the left and right of the “waterfront promenade” or are still in various stages of construction, you will initially feel that your arrival at Camping Riviera 2 is a relief The first impression is also positive. The entrance and the restaurant make a good impression. The owner welcomes you in a friendly manner and his son (?), who then conducts the further “negotiations”, speaks excellent English and good German, but despite our late arrival (7 p.m.) charges € 20.00 per night instead of the one on the HP stated € 15.00 After almost 7 hours of driving, we're not arguing about €5.00. It is only later that some of the grievances become apparent. The sanitary facilities are dirty to say the least and the toilet bowls show what “business” the previous users have done there. There is also only salt water for showering or similar. The wooden “tents” or beds and bed linen that can be rented cannot necessarily be described as clean and hygienic... and the prices per night, as we later learned from other guests, seem to be based on discretion and are between € 12.00 and as in our case € 20.00. There are only a limited number of pitches, 6 or 7 covered and suitable for campervans and 8 also under sun protection, probably for tents. There are also 7 “wooden tents” standing between unplastered formwork stones. Small accommodations that were obviously never finished. There are small wooden huts on a slightly higher level. The terrain is covered with coarse gravel, some areas are covered with heavy, large, messily laid artificial turf tracks. Green strips that had obviously been unmaintained for a long time were created in some areas. A few planted trees provide hardly any shade worth mentioning. The view of the sea that the place offers and the location, far away from the tourist castles, on a seemingly quieter stretch of beach, would have actually allowed us to ignore most of the grievances if it hadn't been for the strange behavior of the operator and his son or employee... Both of them suddenly stood next to us while we were having dinner and insisted on paying the €20.00. My request to do this after our dinner or the following morning was simply rejected with “no, we want the money now”. We would have understood that too and the fact that neither the 4 showers nor the two toilets were cleaned the next morning wouldn't have really been a problem. After several long days, we even decided in the morning to spend another day here and to use the loungers belonging to the campsite, which were placed under a sunshade on a small terrace above the beach. At around 3:30 p.m. the owner's son or employee suddenly appeared and explained to us that he now wanted money for the use of the loungers... When I objected that yesterday it had been said that all of the CP's facilities were available to us free of charge, he explained to us that he wanted money now... At some point it's enough, we are the last ones who don't allow the people here in Albania to earn something, but obviously we won't let ourselves be ripped off either. As written, we originally wanted to stay another night and also eat in the restaurant. So we broke up our camp in record time and, having lost our first negative experience in this beautiful country, left the campsite and settled in a small, simple campsite right on the beach on the other side of the bay € 10.00 made the night comfortable Even asking for this small sum seemed almost embarrassing to the young man who lived in an old caravan directly on the campsite... so there is another way... Conclusion Despite the good location, we cannot recommend Camping Riviera 2. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 5
