I mean this in the least offensive way possible but as an American I have made way better carbonara. I understand that this is a cafe but I wasn’t exactly ready for the ham and scrambled eggs I was served today very disappointing and I hope they can learn from there mistakes. 29 euros got us 2 Americanos each with two side pots of hot milk, a breakfast sandwich, scrambled egg platter and a cakey dessert in syrup. Left 3 euro tip on top of cost. Coffee was very good. All the staff were very helpful and obliging. Outside seating is noisy and stinky from the exhaust fumes. Bacon was one tiny wisp of very salty ham, but the scrambled eggs were so delicious - like cooked in real butter. So called salad was splashed with a small bit of tasteless oil. Sandwich was served on a huge fresh bun. Tasty but too bready. The dessert, a cone shaped bun served in ALL bakeries, has a weird flavour. I was curious what it tasted like because I see them everywhere, but I wouldn't order again. My partner said he would eat there again. I personally would like to try their french toast or pancakes. The good thing about this place is the coffee, which is also good anywhere else across Italy. We ordered four coffees and I asked the barman or owner if we could sit. He replied in the positive and prompted us to sit after which a boy who works there brought us the coffee and some sweets we also ordered. For sitting there for no more than 5 minutes we were robbed of EUR 4 for coperto just because we dared to sit and to have the coffees brought to us - something I could have done better. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
