Absolute 10/10! Had a cappuccino and a pistachio croissant and it was to die for! We actually don't find it easy to get good coffee in a café; here it's not just the look of the coffee that's good but also the taste. The croissant smells of lemon, is airy and the taste is simply amazing. The location is also great, you feel like you are in Italy and can enjoy a nice little break. Piacere means pleasure - and Café Piacere is one. Less than a five-minute walk from the famous castle and with plenty of parking nearby, it feels like a little piece of Italy in the middle of Upper Bavaria. The small menu is supplemented by a daily special, there is pasta and pinse, the hip sisters of Italian pizza, appetizers, of course coffee and very good ice cream. We order black pasta with seafood and what we get is as good as I've rarely had on this side of the Alps. As we learn from the charming boss, Mama is in the kitchen and she cooks to your knees. Burghausen now has one more attraction for us. And if we long for the south, then we know from now on: Italy begins in Burghausen, just around the corner. Quel piacere!
