Ein wirklich toller Ort. Wir haben eine gemischte und gegrillte Fischplatte bestellt. Die war sehr frisch und mit verschiedenen Fischen präsentiert. Dazu gab es noch Pommes. Einen Cesar Salat sowie Wasser und Softdrinks. Am Ende haben wir ca 460 dh bezahlt. Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes restaurant. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit zu beten. Restaurant ist sauber, Toiletten sind vorhanden und das Essen ist köstlich. Wir haben dort gefrühstückt und es war lecker.

The Café Restaurant Cap Spartel, across from an old lighthouse on the Atlantic, is located at the far northwest corner of North Africa, at the entrance to the narrow Strait of Gibraltar that separates Africa from Europe and where the Atlantic Ocean merges into the Mediterranean Sea.For decades this restaurant has served fish and other foods to countless tourists and Moroccans. Bus loads of tourists would pull up and they would have a traditional Moroccan mint tea or meal before moving on to another location such as Chefchaouen or Asilah.In March 2021, I went to this restaurant with a friend from Agadir, who parked his car in the very large parking lot. Immediately I noticed a large new outdoor dining area up some stairs behind the large main restaurant. It was almost completely full.When a table became available, we sat under an umbrella. The waiter came promptly and we ordered only mint teas, brought in small pots with small glasses. It was not the best tea I've had in many years of visiting Morocco, and my friend agreed it wasn't that good. Our teas cost 16 Dirhams each, plus a tip.This upper outside area of the Café Restaurant Cap Spartel is surrounded on two sides by a large fenced-in enclosed playground for young children, with swings and slides, etc.There were families and tourists, some with children, eating fish, pizzas and salads or just having a drink. But even here you could see the ocean through the trees, over the roof of the original large restaurant down below.Afterwards, we went out front in to look at the panoramic views and the iconic lighthouse. I walked up the stairs and went inside to look at the menu, and saw the fresh fish available on ice displayed inside the chilled cabinet. I thought the prices high as some fishes were 60 DH to 100 DH per 100 grams.But there were also hamburgers, pizzas and pastas on the menu, along with other items that were more affordable. You might even have an omlette or complete breakfast here while enjoying the views and tranquil surroundings, away from the noisy downtown area in Tangier.
