This review is long over due as I visited in July 2019. As a visitor to Lecce I wanted to experience a slice of life as a local. I truly found what I was looking for at the Bistrot Flambeaux. This is a wonderful pub located in a truly "local" area of Lecce. The service was warm and casual which was especially nice for me as someone who is an English speaker, one of the owner speaks English very well. There is an excellent selection of beers and wine that accompany delicious sandwiches and salads. Inside the pub has a cozy atmosphere with music that is never too loud to have an intimate conversation as well. The owners are a special couple along with their son and daughter took extra care to ensure my partner and I had a very memorable evening. As well their daughter made our meal and a great desert, she was very attentive and gave perfect customer service. We enjoyed the company of the family so much that for most of the night we were all chatting and laughing together. If you are searching for a local pub with great service and food I highly recommend Bistrox Flambeaux!
