6 of us ate, soute, seafood risotto, fried calamari, sole and lemon sorbet. Everything was really excellent, the owners were very friendly, it felt like we were at home. Highly recommended! Crossing Italy, it often happens that you want to make a stop and if you are hungry and you are close to the Pescara area, rather than stopping at the autogrill you could exit the A14 and in a very short time (but what am I saying very little, even less!) be there . The name itself says it... Hostaria del Mare = FISH! The menu has the right number of dishes per course, not too many and well varied and everything was excellent. Few but very fresh and quality products served impeccably especially considering the speed of the service and, last but not least, more than adequate portions, generous toppings and very honest prices. The diners are really friendly and very kind. I just regret not being from the area so I can go back more often. The environment is very nice and pleasant, a small, well-decorated tavern with an open kitchen that recalls the great restaurants. For me everything was perfect but if it can be used to improve, you just need to adjust the air conditioning a little more. PS: it was a day in the middle of the week so in busy and scorching heat, we ordered Sautéed mussels and clams, linguine with clams and I don't remember , fried and roasted calamari. The sorbets are also excellent and the advice on the mandarin one. I am sure that for air conditioning they will find a more suitable solution since they are the first to cook. I repeat, the air conditioning was there and it was still quite good but that extra hair was fine. But just if I have to find fault! Go there.
