Apart from the fried pie and the cured meats, everything else was not good at all, the mushrooms in the tortelli were inedible, my roasted shin uncommendable not to mention the desserts, I will never return Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Salumi Misti Con Torta Fritta E Parmigiano

We found and got to know the restaurant through friends and since we tried it when we can we come specifically from Brescia just to eat there. The quality of the ingredients used is superb and the taste is excellent. Their fried pie is superb: easily digestible and very light, it is served with characteristic cold cuts. In addition to the fried pie, it offers respectable traditional first and second courses and the desserts are no exception. The staff is approachable, extremely available for any request and attentive to everything. We definitely had a good time and given the popularity of the place I recommend booking. We will definitely be back. The only negative is the environment, if you are inside there is no problem regarding the temperature, outside however in winter despite the covered and heated veranda the temperature is still low and in summer not much air circulates despite the fans. An enjoyable experience, in the noblest sense of the term. Here you can breathe and taste Emilia. The fried cake accompanied by Zibello culatello and a knob of butter is ecstasy for the palate. The trio of tortelli (pumpkin, herbs and potatoes with mushroom sauce) with a snowfall of parmesan on top is the culinary orgasm that every living being should experience. The rabbit with puree helps to degrease everything, before the final apotheosis. The eggnog cream presented as a work of art satisfies the sight as well as the palate. All obviously washed down with a sublime Lambrusco from the house. The guys at the service were simply perfect. Quick, attentive, courteous and also friendly (which doesn't hurt). Prices more than fair considering the quality offered. Too bad we live far away. But if we pass through Parma again, the Trattoria del Grillo will be an obligatory stop. Parking: It is best to arrive early because the car park does not offer many parking spaces.
