You have to drive around the to the back parking and just go for it. From the outside, driving by it seems as if Thava doesn't exist but it does. Inside you'll find yourself warm and cosy and I find that the service has always been on point. Some items are great, some good, and your favorites will always be your favorites. I asked around here and in a local group for a fine dining curry restaurant and was directed to Thava Indian Restaurant in Norwood. We were greeted by a friendly manager who sat us down in a lovely cosy corner of the restaurant that was surprisingly busy for 6pm. Our waiter was attentive, answering all our questions but not overpowering us with his presence either. We started with a tandoori skewer... Flavours were incredible with just the amount of heat. Hubby had the Rogan josh which he declared one of the finest he'd ever tasted. I decided to have 2 starters as my main so ordered the sesame crusted prawn with a paneer cheese dish. Both were superb and perfectly flavoured although I couldn't finish as the portions were very ample. Upon hearing that it was our anniversary the manager presented us with a dessert..... The name evades me but it was delicious but we weren't able to appreciate it...... We'd way overdone it by that stage. Loved this establishment. Will be back for the ambience, the service, the friendliness of staff and definately for the delicious Indian food.
